Gisela Norrman with Capricorn Razu
I am born in Åtvidaberg in Östergötland, Sweden, but grew up and still live in Germany since very young age. Most of my summer holidays in childhood I spent in Österlen, so it is a great and special pleasure to me to be part of this year´s Continental in Christinehof.
I run a veterinary small animal practise in Reichshof, in a beautiful region about 60 km east of Cologne (Köln). Since 1986 sheep are part of my life, in average I keep 30 to 40 ewes (Graue Gehoernte Heidschnucken, Scottish Blackfaces and Welsh Mountain crosses) plus lambs. In 1988 I got my first Border Collie “Leslie” who is the founder of my “Capricorn” Kennel and the great grandmother of Capricorn Razu, the dog I´ ll have the pleasure to compete with. It will be my 11th Continental and the 3rd with Razu, whom I bred and trained myself. Razu is by Paul Welleman´s Rob and my Capricorn´s Fay. His litter brother Capricorn Jake is a German team member too. I am looking forward to an exciting and enjoyable weekend among European sheepdog enthusiasts. May the best run win. |

Otto Althaus with Ebony
My farm is located in North Hessen near Marburg, where I keep 3 cattle, 30 Texel sheep, 10 Kerry Hill Sheep and 4 Border Collies. I train my dogs myself, my trialling carreer began in 2006. The dog I run at the Continental is Ebony which I got as a pup, when she was 8 weeks old. Now she is six years and she qualified for the Continental and the World Trial as well. This will be my first participation at a Continental and I am very happy to be part of the German team. | |
